The $1.2 billion development is being constructed on a 27-acre site near the I-26 and I-526 interchange and will eventually replace the existing downtown Roper Hospital.
Scheduled to open in late 2029, the new campus will bring expanded medical services to a more centrally accessible location. Plans include a 24-hour emergency department, modern operating rooms, inpatient care areas, and a specialty medical office building. This transformative project will create a state-of-the-art healthcare destination designed to support the evolving needs of patients, providers, and communities throughout the region.
