The 30,305-square-foot Culinary Institute of the South was developed to support hands-on culinary education for up to 300 students. The campus includes a 26,000-square-foot training facility featuring six classrooms, two instructional kitchens, a baking lab, lecture theater, and a student-centered teaching restaurant.
The institute also includes FOODseum, an interactive museum experience dedicated to celebrating and preserving Lowcountry agriculture and farming traditions. Through immersive exhibits, educational programming, hands-on experiences, and guest speakers, the space creates a unique learning environment and represents a first-of-its-kind concept in the South.
