Project Overview

BMW Manufacturing employs more than 11,000 people across its 10-million-square-foot Spartanburg campus, producing the BMW X3, X5, X6, X7, and XM models. Since 1994, the plant has assembled more than 7.3 million vehicles and remains one of the largest U.S. automotive exporters by value, reaching approximately $9 billion in exports in 2025.
